The Big Fake (Il falsario) · Italy (2025)
A young painter arrives in Rome during the 1970s with nothing but his talent. He ends up becoming the most in-demand forger in the city, working simultaneously for art galleries, the mafia and the secret services. The story is based on real events and is set against the political violence of the Years of Lead in Italy.
