Tom used to be a promising tennis player. Now he teaches lessons to tourists on a sleepy Spanish island and spends his nights drinking the boredom away. Not exactly the life he imagined.
Then a guest named Anne shows up with her husband and son, and something about her feels oddly familiar. Tom gets pulled into their world, and what starts as a harmless holiday friendship turns strange fast.
When the husband disappears, Tom goes from outsider to suspect almost overnight. It is part slow burn thriller, part sun drenched mystery, the kind of film that keeps you guessing without raising its voice.
It premiered at the Berlinale in 2025 and picked up strong reviews for its tense, stylish take on paradise turning sour.
